Gordon Burn
Gordon Burn is the author of three acclaimed novels, ALMA COGAN (winner of the Whitbread First Novel Prize), FULLALOVE and THE NORTH OF ENGLAND HOME SERVICE. He is also the author of the non-fiction titles POCKET MONEY, HAPPY LIKE MURDERERS, ON THE WAY TO WORK and SOMEBODY’S HUSBAND, SOMEBODY’S SON, a study of Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper, which won an Edgar Allan Poe Award. His latest book, BEST AND EDWARDS, traces the careers of two of British football’s brightest talents and was published by Faber & Faber last year.
