Linda Davies

Linda Davies was born in Scotland, raised in Wales, read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford and then succumbed to the City of London for seven years where she worked as an investment banker. She escaped over ten years ago to write novels. Her first novel, Nest of Vipers, Has been translated into over twenty five languages and various film options have been sold to MGM and other studios. She has written four more novels – Wilderness of Mirrors, Into the Fire, Something Wild, and Final Settlement – which have also been published around the world (Final Settlement is due out in 2005). She normally lives in London, but every so often goes off for an adventure, the last major one being to Peru, where she lived for three years. She is married and has three young children. She has always wanted to write for children, and says there is little nicer than reading to your own children a story you have made up yourself. Every morning she walks past Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens and gives him a nod for inspiration’s sake.
