| Michèle Roberts Michèle Roberts is the author of eleven novels, including The Mistressclass and Daughters of the House, which was shortlisted for the Booker prize and winner of the WHSmith Literary Award. She has also published short stories, most recently collected in Playing Sardines, and poetry. Half-English and half-French, she lives in London and in the Mayenne, France. She is Professor of Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. |
