JM Shaw
J.M. Shaw was born and grew up in London. His first novel, THE ILLUMINATION OF MERTON BROWNE, has just been published by Sceptre. Merton’s story was partly inspired by the author’s own involvement in educational projects, including remedial classes for inner-city children, which made clear to him the deep transformations that such opportunities can give rise to, as well as the daunting difficulties of growing up without family-life, a supportive community, or exposure to real education. J.M. Shaw lives with his wife in London.
